Product Details

The Auricular Height Needle is an accessory part for GPM's Anthropometer. Using the auricular needle results in high-precision measurement of a subject's auricular head height.

The GPM Anthropometer is an extremely versatile instrument suitable for measuring nearly any linear dimension of the human body. Also referred to as the Martin anthropometer, it is world renowned for its precision, durability, and ease of use.

In order to ensure the accurate measurement of the height of the ears, this ear height pin can be used on the upper steel ruler of the Anthropometer (101). The pin consists of two steel pins placed at right angles to each other. These pins are fixed in a small slide which slides down from above to rest firmly on the upper steel ruler of the beam compass. The plane of the steel pin is parallel to the beam compass and vertical to the steel ruler, which ensures that the instrument is vertical when the steel pin moves in the median sagittal plane of the head.

Caution: For cleaning please do not use acetone or acetone-containing cleaning agents.
